South Park presents people with a diverse set of concepts that are meant to have them realize that it is perfectly ok for them to perform activities that their parents would not normally endorse, as life needs to be balanced and as only concentrating on performing moral acts can actually hurt an individual, considering that it is very probable that he or she will be taken advantage of. One of the biggest issues when concerning South Park and the effect that it has on audiences relates to the age of the individuals watching it. The show is normally aimed at a teenager audience and it is difficult to determine whether children under ten are capable to understand the moral aspects that the sitcom is trying to convey. People need to accept the fact that society is not exactly a comfortable environment welcoming them as they attempt to integrate it. The harsh reality of life can have a harmful effect on individuals if they are not prepared to deal with it. South Park thus manages to present teenagers with more information regarding society and teaches them that one can always use weapons...

Through making a series of references to pop culture, the sitcom also manages to present viewers with more information regarding society's values and the fact that trends come and go while people need to focus on keeping their principles. South Park is largely meant to make fun at society and uses children with the purpose of doing so. College students can learn important things as a result of watching the series, as it is likely to make them acknowledge that new generations are the key to turning a corrupt world into a better place through using humor and through being less determined to be perfect.
